As of May 9, 546 Ukrainian children died at the hands of the Russian occupiers, and another 1,330 were injured.

This was reported by the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office.

«More than 1,876 children were injured in Ukraine as a result of the full-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation. As of the morning of May 9, 2024, according to the official information of juvenile prosecutors, 546 children died and more than 1,330 were injured of various degrees of severity,» the message states.

The most affected children were in Donetsk Oblast — 530, Kharkiv Oblast — 365, Kherson Oblast — 150, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast — 137, Kyiv Oblast — 130, Zaporizhia Oblast — 108, Mykolaiv Oblast — 104.

The prosecutor's office noted that 10 children aged from 2 months to 17 years were injured during the day of March 12 as a result of rocket fire by the invaders of Kryvyi Rih, Dnipropetrovsk region.

Yesterday, a 7-year-old boy and an 8-year-old girl were injured as a result of a Russian air strike with a KAB-type air bomb on Velyka Pisarivka, Sumy region.
