The defense forces destroyed 16 Shahed drones and 2 missiles that the Russian Federation used to attack Ukraine

On the night of July 18, the Russians attacked Ukraine with «Shahed-131/136» attack drones and three air missiles.

This was announced by the commander of the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Mykola Oleschuk.

According to him, the Russians launched the Shaheds from the Kursk region of the Russian Federation, and the air missiles — two X-59 and one X-35 — from the southern direction.

The air attack was repelled by mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine, anti-aircraft missile units of the Air Force, and electronic warfare units.

As a result of combat work, it was possible to shoot down all Shaheds and two X-59 guided air missiles in the Dnipropetrovsk, Poltava, Zaporizhzhia, Kyiv and Kharkiv regions.

 We will remind you that in the evening of July 17, the Russian army once again bombarded the territory of the Kutsurub community in the Mykolaiv region with kamikaze drones of the FPV type.
