The Russian army shelled more than 30 settlements in the Kharkiv region.
This was announced by the head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration Oleh Syniehubov, Ukrinform reports.
According to him, more than 30 settlements were hit by artillery and mortar attacks, including Lyptsi, Vesele, Neskuchne, Starytsia, Zarichne, Zelenyi Yar, Hontarivka, Tomakhivka, Yurchenkove, and Vovchansk.
In the village of Mali Prokhody, Kharkiv district, a house was on fire as a result of shelling.
The RMA noted that one private house was damaged in Dvorichna due to shelling from multiple rocket launchers, and a 46-year-old woman was injured.
In the village of Lyptsi, Kharkiv district, the KAB hit a communal educational institution.
In Izium, a 69-year-old man was injured as a result of the detonation of ammunition, the head of the Regional State Administration reported.
It is noted that on May 12, as a result of a series of massive shelling of Vovchansk from various types of weapons, private houses were damaged and seven people were injured.
As the head of the Regional State Administration noted, over the past day, Ukrainian troops in the Kupiansk direction repelled 9 enemy attacks, in particular in the areas of Petropavlivka and Berestove.
In the Kharkiv direction, Ukrainian soldiers repelled 12 Russian attacks, in particular in the Lukiantsi, Vovchansk, and Buhruvatka districts.
Oleg Synegubov also emphasized that 1,695 people were evacuated from Chuhuiv district, 2,589 from Kharkiv district, and 44 from Bohodukhiv district. 1434 people were evacuated by volunteers. A total of 5,762 people were evacuated.
We will remind that last day the Russian occupiers shelled two communities of the Mykolaiv region — Ochakiv and Kutsurub.
