Since the beginning of the full-scale war, 25 men who tried to illegally cross the border of Ukraine have died on the Tisza.

This was reported to the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.

It is noted that Romanian border guards recently found the body of a drowned man who tried to cross the river on the banks of the Tisza. Border guards handed over the man's body to Ukrainian colleagues.

According to the rescuers, the deceased is a middle-aged man with signs of prolonged stay in the water.

At present, the identity of the drowned man is being established, since he did not have any documents with him.

We will remind that border guards detained two «swimmers» who tried to illegally cross the border of Ukraine and Moldova on an inflatable mattress.

Earlier it was reported that in Transcarpathia border guards detained four men who tried to cross the border across the Tisza River in a rubber boat.

In the same case, border guards detained two minors and two men with inflatable rings for swimming.
