The court announced the sentence to the Mykolaiv military officer, who is accused of passing on information about the deployment of Ukrainian troops to the Russians and justifying the war.
This was reported by the press service of the Central District Court.
The court established that a 24-year-old contract worker in one of the military units of the Mykolaiv Oblast involved his wife, a citizen of the Russian Federation, in his plans. Her task was to find ways to illegally cross the border and go to the aggressor country.
In particular, the woman gave him the contacts of a representative of the Russian Federation, with whom they, using the means of conspiracy, began correspondence.
Subsequently, the Russians gave the suspect the task of sending information about the place of his service, data of commanders, including addresses of residence, other military personnel, in particular those who have relatives in the territory of the Russian Federation.
Along with this, the suspect sent information concerning him personally and the leadership of the military unit. Later, he received another task related to the provision of information about his place of service, but he did not have time to complete it, as he was detained by the Security Service of Ukraine.
At the court, the accused did not admit his guilt, stated that he only wanted to leave the country, handed over information about the commanders of the military unit, as he hoped to receive help in leaving Ukraine.
Also, the man asked to apply a preventive measure with the determination of the amount of the bail.
We will remind how the Security Service of Ukraine detained an official of the Khmelnytskyi City Council. Law enforcement officers believe that he started working for the FSS of the Russian Federation.
