Military sailors eliminated the Russian cannon that was shelling Mykolaiv Oblast

On Wednesday, July 3, with the help of drones, military sailors discovered and destroyed an enemy cannon that was shelling the Mykolaiv region.

This was reported in the press service of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

It is noted that the aerial reconnaissance of one of the units of the Navy of the Armed Forces of Ukraine revealed the calculation of an enemy gun that fired at a settlement on the coast of the Dnipro-Bug estuary.

During reconnaissance, the artillery installation was identified as a 122-millimeter D-30 gun.

«Military sailors worked on the enemy's firing position with FPV drones. As a result of the hits, the ammunition near the cannon detonated,» the report says.

In addition to the destroyed artillery installation, the forest strips where the Russians had equipped dugouts, defense structures and ammunition storage areas caught fire, added the Navy of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
