The Kyiv police announced suspicions of the suspects in the attempt to kill a Kazakh journalist, and they are currently wanted internationally.
This was reported by the communication department of the Kyiv police.
We will remind that on June 18, the Kyiv police received information that an unknown person shot a journalist, a citizen of Kazakhstan, in the head in the Shevchenkivskyi district of the city, when he and his wife were in a car near the house where they live.
The law enforcement officers managed to establish that two foreigners, aged 33 and 36, were involved in the crime.
«Investigators of the Investigative Department of the Kyiv Police under the procedural leadership of the Kyiv City Prosecutor's Office announced a suspicion in absentia procedure to the persons involved under Part 2 of Article 15, Clause 11, 12 of Part 2 of Article 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine — in a completed attempted murder committed on the order and for a prior conspiracy by a group of persons,» the message reads.
The suspects have been declared an international wanted man and measures are currently being taken to arrest them. For committing a particularly serious crime, men face life imprisonment.
