On Monday, July 8, Russian troops attacked Ukrainian cities with more than 40 missiles. Kyiv, Dnipro, Kryvyi Rih, Sloviansk, and Kramatorsk were affected during the attack.

This was announced by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

«Russian terrorists again massively attacked Ukraine with missiles. Different cities: Kyiv, Dnipro, Kryvyi Rih, Sloviansk, Kramatorsk. More than 40 missiles of different types. Residential buildings, infrastructure and a children's hospital were damaged,» he said.

Also, the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported that as of 12:00 in Ukraine, about 20 people were killed in the attack, and about 50 were injured.

In Kyiv, as a result of a missile strike, debris was recorded in Solomianskyi, Dniprovskyi, Darnytskyi, Desnianskyi, Shevchenkivskyi and Holosiivskyi districts.

The Okhmatdyt Children's Hospital was also damaged during the Russian shelling. The Minister of Health of Ukraine, Viktor Liashko, said that the attack on «Okhmadyt» hit the building where children received dialysis — the intensive care, operating, and oncology departments were damaged.

In addition, after hitting a house in the Shevchenkivskyi district of the capital, one of the entrances was completely destroyed.

As of 14:00, as a result of today's Russian shelling of the city, 10 people died, 47 people were injured. Nine are in serious condition. Search and rescue work continues.

The mayor of Kryvyi Rih Oleksandr Vilkul noted that July 9 is a day of mourning in Kryvyi Rih.

As a result of the Russian attack on Dnipro, a high-rise building and an enterprise and a service station were damaged. There are wounded.

«Massive enemy attack from the air on the area. A high-rise building and an enterprise were damaged in Dnipro. The service station is mutilated,» said Serhii Lysak, the head of RMA.
