Russian troops destroyed more than 500 religious buildings in Ukraine.

This is reported by StratCom.

«The spiritless «Russian measure» leaves behind only ruins. «The Russians destroyed more than 500 religious buildings of Christians, Jews and Muslims in Ukraine,» the message reads.

It is noted that StratCom in the post mentioned eight destroyed temples, synagogues and mosques, which constitute only a small percentage of the destruction.

Among the religious buildings destroyed and mutilated by the enemy are the Transfiguration Cathedral in Odesa, the Intercession Cathedral of the UOC MP in Zhytomyr Region, the destroyed Sunna Mosque in the city of Kharkiv, the Ascension Church of the OCU in the village of Dniprovske in Kherson Region, the Sviatohirska Lavra of the UOC MP, a synagogue in Mariupol, and others.

We will remind that 191 churches of the Moscow Patriarchate continue to function in the Mykolaiv region.
