The Russian Federation troops launched 22 UAVs over Ukraine: air defense forces shot down 17 drones

On the night of March 18, the Russians launched 22 attack drones over Ukraine. Ukrainian air defense forces shot down 17 of them.

This was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

It is noted that the Russian army attacked the Kharkiv region with five S-300/S-400 anti-aircraft guided missiles, and the Russians hit the Sumy region with two more Kh-59 guided air missiles.

22 Shahed attack drones were launched by the Russians from Primorsko-Akhtarsk in Russia.

Anti-aircraft missile units of the Air Force and Ground Forces, mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine, as well as means of electronic warfare repelled the drone attack.

As a result of combat work, 17 UAVs Shahed were shot down within Kyiv, Poltava, Khmelnytskyi, Cherkasy, Kirovohrad, Dnipropetrovsk, Vinnytsia, Zaporizhzhia, and Rivne regions.

We will remind that as a result of the Russian missile attack, as of the morning of March 18 , 9 people were injured in Mykolaiv.
