On Saturday, May 25, in Kharkiv, the enemy attacked a construction hypermarket in a residential area of the city.
Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov and Oleh Syniehubov, the head of RMA, announced this in Telegram.
«Two Russian anti-aircraft missiles hit a construction hypermarket in Kharkiv. Two people died, 24 people were injured. Several hundred people could be in the middle. Profile services on site. All victims are being assisted. Information is being updated,» Oleh Syniehubov wrote.
Minister of Internal Affairs Ihor Klymenko said that more than 200 people were in the building. At least 15 people are currently out of touch.
«Extinguishing is complicated by the presence of a significant amount of flammable materials and the possible further spread of the fire to nearby warehouses. At the same time, there is a constant threat of repeated enemy shelling,» he wrote.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has also already reacted to the blow:
«All services are already on the spot providing assistance — they are rescuing people and extinguishing the fire, which completely engulfed the premises, 10,000 square meters. m. It is known about the dead and wounded.»
