At the time of the enemy attack, more than a thousand people were in the Kharkiv medical facility, near which two Russian missiles hit that night.

Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov announced this.

The mayor's office noted that the medical complex was under attack from the Russian troops, in the buildings of which «at the time of the rocket attack there were more than a thousand people — 900 patients and two and a half hundred personnel.»

«Fortunately, the rockets hit the ground and not the buildings of the medical facility — otherwise it is difficult to imagine the number of dead and injured. There is one wounded person, the degree is light,» Ihor Terekhov noted.

The blast wave damaged several buildings with broken windows, damaged roofs, power lines, water supply and other engineering communications. The mayor's office added that all relevant services are working at the site of enemy «arrivals».
