In the afternoon of July 16, the Russian army shelled the Korabelnyi district of Kherson from the temporarily occupied left bank.

This was announced by the head of the Kherson city military administration, Roman Mrochko.

According to him, the building of the educational institution was damaged and a fire broke out in a residential building. A 70-year-old woman was injured. She was hospitalized with a mine-explosive injury.

The Russian Federation also attacked Kherson on the morning of July 16, damaging the market, business center and commercial premises. There are no local victims.
