On the morning of March 5, the Russian army shelled Kherson from the temporarily occupied left bank.

This was announced by the head of the Kherson city military administration, Roman Mrochko.

As noted, a 76-year-old man was injured as a result. He is currently hospitalized with a landmine-explosive injury and a shrapnel wound on his forearm. The information is being clarified.

Also, during the past 24 hours, Russian troops shelled populated areas in Antonivka, Prydniprovsk and Kherson nine times.

In particular, two high-rise buildings, an educational institution building and two civilian cars were damaged in the city.

We will remind you that the Russians again shelled the Kutsurub and Ochakiv communities of the Mykolaiv region.

On the night of March 5 , the Ukrainian military shot down 18 of the 22 attack drones that the Russian invaders were using to attack Ukraine. The enemy fired 22 Shaheds from the Balaklava district in Crimea. As a result of combat work, the air defense forces destroyed 18 drones within the Odesa region.
