The body of a man with signs of prolonged stay in the water was discovered near the Ukrainian-Romanian border at noon on May 30.

This was reported by the State Border Service.

It is noted that the drowned man was brought to the shore of the Tisza River in the Romanian settlement of Krechunesti, which is opposite the Ukrainian settlement of Velykyi Bychkiv.

According to the border guards, they were informed about the terrible find by their Romanian colleagues. The identity of the deceased is currently being established.

This is already the tenth body of a drowned man found on the river section of the border since the beginning of May.

We will remind that another body of a person who, according to the border guards, tried to enter Romania illegally was found in the Tisza River in Transcarpathia. Before that, border guards reported that they had found 30 bodies since the beginning of the year.
