Ukrainian air defense destroyed 35 out of 39 Shaheds at night

On the night of July 21, the air defense forces of Ukraine shot down 35 enemy attack UAVs «Shahed — 131/136».

This was reported by the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

It is noted that the Russian troops launched:

• 3 Iskander-M ballistic missiles from the Kursk region and Crimea;
• 2 guided air missiles X-59/69 from the airspace of the Kursk region;
• 39 attack UAVs of the Shahed type from three directions — Kursk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk and Crimea.

Anti-aircraft defense worked in Sumy, Poltava, Kyiv, Chernihiv, Kherson, Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Mykolaiv, Odesa, and Cherkasy regions.

Radio engineering troops of the Air Force detected and tracked air targets in more than 10 regions of Ukraine. Units of mobile fire groups of all the Defense Forces of Ukraine, as well as anti-aircraft missile troops and EW of the Air Force were involved in repelling the air attack.

Air defense managed to shoot down 35 Shahed drones. Also, thanks to active countermeasures, the enemy's Kh-59/69 guided air missiles did not reach their goals, Mykola Oleschuk emphasized.

We would like to remind you that on the night of July 21, one «Shahed 131/136» UAV was destroyed by air defense forces and means in Mykolaiv Oblast.
