In Odesa, at the international security forum in the Black Sea region Black Sea Security Forum 2024, the newest Ukrainian maritime drone was presented.

It is noted that the unmanned boat has a length of about 5 meters and a width of 1.2 meters, which allows it to accelerate to a speed of more than 40 knots (about 75 kilometers per hour). At the same time, its cruising speed is 30 knots (55 kilometers per hour).

Depending on the equipment installed, the Stalker 5.0 can be used for reconnaissance and patrolling or for the delivery of water, food, fuel and other cargo.

In addition, this drone has a video communication and control system based on Starlink.

The cost of one such marine drone is about 60,000 euros.

We will remind you that Denmark decided to allocate 200 million Danish kroner (28.5 million dollars) for the purchase of Ukrainian weapons and military equipment for the Armed Forces of Ukraine directly from domestic manufacturers.

It was also previously reported that another plant of the German company Quantum-Systems GmbH, which specializes in the production of drones, was opened in Ukraine. It is planned to produce 1,000 drones per year, as well as to produce spare parts.
