«Mykolaivpastrans» is looking to purchase modular changing rooms, shower facilities and a control room for over ₴9.3 million

The municipal enterprise «Mykolaivpastrans» has announced a tender for the procurement of modular facilities to meet the sanitary and domestic needs of its staff. For over 9 million hryvnias, the company plans to purchase two changing rooms, a sanitary module with showers and a control room.

This is according to data from the Prozorro public procurement system, as reported by NikVesti.

The call for tenders remains open until 24 July. The contractor must deliver the structures to the enterprise by the end of 2026.

According to the technical specifications, the contractor must install two modular changing rooms with 112 metal lockers, equipped with a ventilation system, LED lighting and four inverter air-conditioning units.

A separate sanitary module, which will contain seven shower cubicles, four washbasins and toilets, a boiler room, an indirect heating boiler and an electric boiler.

The municipal enterprise also plans to install a modular control room, which will consist of three workrooms, a security room and two toilets.

It is envisaged that the modules will be insulated with mineral wool and fitted with metal-plastic windows, metal doors, ventilation, water supply and drainage systems, etc.

NikVesti approached the company’s management to ask why this purchase was being made, given that during his press conference, the municipal enterprise’s director, Dmytro Danylenko, had emphasised the need to save budget funds. In response, the company stated that there are currently insufficient staff facilities on site.

«At present, the company lacks adequate facilities for staff, particularly drivers. Specifically, there is a lack of changing rooms, showers and sanitary facilities (toilets), which are necessary to ensure proper working conditions in accordance with legal requirements. The installation of modular buildings will enable the creation of the necessary facilities for the company’s staff and ensure appropriate conditions for their stay before, during and after their shifts. As part of the project, it is planned to provide: changing rooms for drivers; shower and sanitary facilities; new premises for the dispatch service; premises for cashiers; and premises for security staff. The company’s management had already highlighted the need for this project during a public address in April, emphasising that improving staff welfare facilities is one of their key priorities,» according to a response from «Mykolaivpastrans».

It should be recalled that earlier, Dmytro Danylenko, head of the municipal enterprise «Mykolaivpastrans», stated that following his appointment he had uncovered irregularities in procurement and the use of fuel that had arisen under the previous management.
