Three more hospitals in the Mykolaiv region will be equipped with solar panels

In three more medical institutions of the Mykolaiv region, solar panels will be installed for autonomous operation in conditions of possible power outages.

This was announced by the deputy head of the regional health care department, Oleh Babin, during a briefing on Tuesday, September 10, NikVesti reports.

The official noted that all hospitals in the region are equipped with the necessary sources of alternative energy, including generators and fuel for their work. Currently, solar panels are being installed in medical facilities to work in the absence of light.

«Taking into account possible power outages, solar panels are installed in health care facilities to ensure energy autonomy. These are, in particular, the Mykolaiv Regional Children's Hospital, Bashtanka, Berezanka, Voznesensk Hospitals, Mykolaiv Children's Hospital №2, as well as Central Children's Hospital №4 and № 6. Currently, work on the installation of these systems is ongoing at the Pervomaisk Central Multidisciplinary Hospital, City Hospital №3, as well as the Snihurivka Hospital,» Oleh Babin said.

In the future, the program will include a polyclinic in the city of Voznesensk and a medical facility in the Nechaiane community.
