Former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba believes that Ukraine may lose if it does not continue to receive funds capable of turning the tide of the war.
He stated this in an interview with the Financial Times.
Dmytro Kuleba noted that if Ukraine does not have the tools to change the course of this war, it will lose.
«Do we have the means and tools today to change the situation and change the course of events? No, we don't have it. And if this continues, we will lose the war,» says Dmytro Kuleba.
He also emphasized that the situation at the front is now difficult.
«It is true that the situation on the battlefield looks bad. But in the first months of 2022, everything looked even worse. What I hate in conversations with European and American experts - and I hate this word, which I usually do not use — is that everyone asks: what is Ukraine ready for, what is Ukraine ready to accept? And I say: guys, first find an answer to the question of what Putin is ready to accept. Because that's where this war starts,» says the former minister.
The former minister also added that the president of the Russian Federation seeks to destroy Ukrainian statehood and occupy the entire territory of Ukraine.
It will be recalled that the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, said that Volodymyr Putin does not want to end the war and is threatening Ukraine with Oreshnik missiles in order to frustrate the efforts of the US President-elect, Donald Trump, to end the war.
