Leaders of Canada, the Baltic States, Northern Europe and Spain arrive in Kyiv on the third anniversary of the Russian invasion

Leaders of Canada, the Baltic States, the Nordic countries and Spain arrived in Kyiv on the morning of 24 February, the third anniversary of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
The Prime Minister of Estonia Kristen Mihal, President of Lithuania Gitanas Nausėda and President of Latvia Edgars Rinkēvičs posted this information on the social network X.
The Prime Minister of Estonia stressed that over the past three years, Ukraine has shown the world the true meaning of resilience.
«Only Ukraine can determine the conditions for peace. We believe in Ukraine's victory, but it requires action. We must accelerate our support now», he wrote.
He also said that he had arrived in Kyiv together with the leaders of the North Baltic Eight, Canada, Spain and representatives of the European Union.
President of Lithuania Gitanas Nausėda also announced his visit: «"I am glad and proud that Lithuania has supported Ukraine in every possible way over the years. We will continue to do so».
President of Latvia Edgars Rinkēvičs also announced his arrival in Kyiv. He recalled that three years ago, on the day the full-scale invasion began, he was in the capital of Ukraine together with the foreign ministers of the other Baltic states.
«" have returned as President of Latvia to express support and admiration for the brave Ukrainian people. We will discuss current issues and further steps», he said.
We would like to remind you that on the third anniversary of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen and the President of the European Council Antonio Costa also arrived in Kyiv.
