The Cabinet of Ministers plans to significantly reduce the list of consumers who are not disconnected from electricity, which will reduce the duration of disconnections for others. The decision will be made on June 18.
Yurii Boiko, adviser to the Prime Minister of Ukraine on energy issues, said this in an interview with the Kyiv 24 channel.
«Currently, the work on optimizing the list of consumers with guaranteed electricity supply is at the final stage. According to the results of this work, this list should be significantly reduced. And, accordingly, it will allow to distribute electricity limits even more evenly,» he said.
According to him, this will make it possible to expand the range of consumers covered by the schedules and reduce the duration of such outages.
«I expect that the decision will be made tomorrow,» added Yurii Boiko.
It will be recalled that on June 16, the chairman of the board of NEC «Ukrenergo» Volodymyr Kudrytskyi said that in the next few weeks the situation in the Ukrainian energy system will be much more difficult than at present. From 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., outage schedules will be slightly longer than the rest of the day.
