The resident of Mykolaiv won the startup competition in Athens — he created a model of electric trucks to serve logistics companies

The Mykolaiv engineer won the Jumpstarter 2023 international competition of European innovators. He presented the development of electric trucks that will serve cargo transportation companies.

Serhii Selivanik is the author of the Ukrainian startup «MeGoElectric». He won in the Urban Mobility nomination among six other European participants. The main idea of the project is the development of affordable electric trucks of small and medium load, which will serve companies engaged in the transportation of goods.

Its development received 10,000 euros and the support of leading European specialists to implement the idea.

According to the press service of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology, the man is currently designing an electric car for people with disabilities who use wheelchairs.

The competition has a total of 9 categories: Digital, Food, Health, Row Materials, Urban Mobility, InnoEnergy, Manufacturing, The New European Bauhaus, Special prize for the best Western Balkan Team. Another one appeared this year — «Rebuild Ukraine», dedicated to the reconstruction of Ukraine.

6 Ukrainian startups entered the category finals, among which the three winners received 10,000 euros for first place, 5,000 for second and 2,500 for third place.

In total, the expert jury recognized 27 projects that can help Europe overcome some of the most pressing challenges.

We remind you that in Mykolaiv the Sweetanok charitable foundation will develop two working projects for the restoration of schools No. 7 and No. 48, which were destroyed as a result of Russian shelling.
