The Department of Education, Youth and Sports of the Kobleve City Council announced a tender for the construction of an anti-radiation shelter at the Rybakivka Lyceum worth over 90 million hryvnias.
This is evidenced by the data of the public procurement system ProZorro, NikVesti writes.
According to the information published on the Dream.Projects platform, the area of the future shelter is 1,213 square meters, it will be able to accommodate students from 4 surrounding settlements. We are talking about schoolchildren from the villages of Luhove, Hlyboke, Rybakivka and Tuzly.
«Implementation of the project will provide an opportunity to cover the full-time education of students in 4 settlements of the community by transporting students from the surrounding villages, to ensure the implementation of the plan for the optimization of educational institutions by creating branches from understaffed educational institutions from which transportation will be carried out,» says the project passport.
The project provides that the shelter will have separate blocks for children from 1st to 2nd grade of the lyceum, from 3rd to 4th grade, and for senior grades from 5th to 12th.
Also, in addition to regular toilets, the contractor must build special toilets for children in wheelchairs and separate toilets and showers for adults in the shelter. In case of power outages, the shelter will be provided with backup power from a generator.
«Ancillary premises are also provided: toilets, premises for storing dirty clothes, premises for storing food and water supply, premises for heating food, auxiliary premises for technical purposes,» says the project passport.
It is noted that the structure of the anti-radiation shelter will be made of monolithic reinforced concrete, the contractor must provide shelter with all necessary engineering communications, in particular heating, mechanical ventilation, water supply, electricity supply, fire protection systems in accordance with standards. In addition to the construction works, the contractor must carry out landscaping of the territory adjacent to the anti-radiation shelter.
According to the information in the tender, the contractor must complete the work by the beginning of the next academic year — September 1, 2025. As for furnishing the shelter with furniture and other training equipment, neither the tender nor the Dream portal mentions it.
