The Department of Housing and Communal Services of the City Council ordered a project to restore the historic gate in the center of Mykolaiv. These works cost 499.7 thousand hryvnias.
This is evidenced by the data of the public procurement platform Prozorro, they write NikVesti.
It is about the repair of the gate along Kropyvnytskyi Street (former Potemkinska Street, — note), between Mariupolska Street and Soborna Street. This object is an architectural monument of local importance and is included in the State Register of Immovable Monuments of Ukraine as a residential building of the 40s and 50s of the 20th century. Currently, the gate is covered with cracks of various sizes and is partially crumbling.
The Department of Housing and Urban Development concluded a contract for the development of the project of restoration of the historical gate with the company «Khimargo-Consulting Scientific Research Center». This company has been operating for 14 years and is registered in the Southern Ukrainian Mykolaiv Region, according to data from the YouControl analytical system. Its director is Oleksii Soroka. The main type of activity of Khimargo-Consulting is auxiliary activity in crop production, but, among other things, also activities in the field of architecture.
The contractor must prepare design and estimate documentation for the restoration of the historic gate by March 5, 2025.
Earlier, in a comment to the publication, the head of the city council's department for culture and cultural heritage protection, Yurii Liubarov, said that the condition of the gate had worsened after the accident, which occurred even before the full-scale invasion. Because then, he added, one of the columns was damaged by a car.
