«I don`t understand, should we build a waste processing plant nearby?», — «Oysters of Scythia» responded to Ecoinspection`s accusations of Tylihul pollution

The management of «Oysters of Scythia» on the territory of which the eco-inspection recorded the pollution of the Tylihul estuary does not see any violations in the piles of garbage bags on the territory of the farm, because it is regularly removed.

The State Environmental Inspection of the South-Western District has published photos of violations recorded by specialists on the territory of the territory of the Great Ukrainian (Chylova) spit near the village of Ukrainka of the Kobleve community. In particular, it was reported that waste water and liquid waste accumulators were placed on the territory of the «Tylihulskyy» park, and «clogging and pollution of land plots with waste water» was also allowed.

Andrii Pihulevskyy noted that the garbage on the territory of the farm is taken out once a week, and they have already cleaned the territory of the economic zone.

«Black garbage bags. We have a contract for garbage removal once a week. Garbage is collected by us (and in accordance with all the rules in bags) and taken away. Why did the inspection record this as a violation? I don't understand that. How do you advise to work further? Build a garbage processing plant nearby and take garbage there every hour. Photos of the farm zone are the inner courtyard of a working enterprise. We are not a sterile biolaboratory. But at the request and according to the prescription of the PLA, we eliminated these shortcomings,» — he noted.

We will remind that the State Inspectorate announced plans for the inspection in July this year.

Prior to that, in February 2023, residents of the Kobleve community were outraged by the construction of a fence on the territory of the regional landscape park «Tylihulskyy» in the Mykolaiv region. After that, it became known that the entry of vehicles into the territory of the park was restricted with the approval of the specialized commission of the Mykolaiv Regional Council. According to Alla Ryazhskyh, head of the commission, such a step will preserve the nature of the landscape park. At the same time, access to this area remains open.

Since the sea coasts of the Mykolaiv region are prohibited for visitors due to the threat of mines, the Tyligul estuary and the landscape park located nearby have become a new tourist location, the head of RMA Vitaly Kim announced in June 2023. In particular, a new tourist location was opened there — the «Tilihul Club» sports and recreation area.

At the same time, in June, environmentalist Inna Tymchenko warned about the potential destruction of the unique nature on the Great Ukrainian spit in the Tylihul estuary due to unorganized tourism. After that, the specialized commission of the regional council recommended limiting the entry of motor vehicles to the territory of the «Tylihulskyy» park.

We also remind you that in May of this year, employees of the landscape park noticed a red-billed bird — the ruffed grouse — in the upper reaches of the Tylihul estuary.

It is worth noting that the zoning project of the regional landscape park «Tylihulskyy», the development of which began back in 2018, has not yet been approved. It is impossible to do this because of an open criminal case.
