Small and medium-sized businesses are resuming their work in the Pervomaisk community of the Mykolaiv region. However, large enterprises are still not working.
Maksym Korovai, the head of the Pervomaisk settlement military administration, reported this in a comment to NikVesti.
— Unfortunately, business is returning at a very slow pace. Small and medium-sized businesses have partially returned, and large companies, such as sugar factories and agricultural holdings, do not yet plan to return because all businesses and garages are broken. I cannot say that the business does not return one hundred percent. Small private entrepreneurs — hardware stores, hairdressers, grocery stores — work virtually throughout the community. But large enterprises, unfortunately, are still at the stage of freezing, — said Maksym Korovai.
Due to this situation with business in the community, the local budget does not receive a third of the funds of the pre-war indicators, explained the head of the village military administration.
— The consequences are low budget income from these enterprises. Before the war, the sugar factory provided, for example, a third of the budget, so today consider that we have lost a third of the budget, — he said.
We will remind you that most of the business of the Kobleve community in the Mykolayiv region suspended its work during the war. Because of this, the rural budget deficit is more than 30%.
