To restore the operation of the Bashtanka cheese factory, which was repeatedly shelled by Russian troops, it is necessary to provide an additional amount of raw materials.
Vladyslav Dmytriv, head of the Bashtan RVA, stated this during a briefing on Monday, December 4, NikVesti reports.
Before the war, the company was the largest taxpayer in the district. However, as a result of intense hostilities and numerous attacks by Russian missiles, the plant decided to take the equipment to another region.
— Unfortunately, there is currently no talk of the plant returning and starting operations in Bashtanka. The reason is the lack of raw materials. In connection with the fact that there was an occupation and an active phase of shelling of all settlements, the number of cattle decreased sharply, says the head of the DMA.
According to him, in order for the factory to reach minimum profitability today, it needs 100 tons of milk per day. And due to the fact that the surrounding settlements were badly affected by shelling and hostilities, it is currently impossible to provide such a quantity of raw materials due to the decrease in the number of cattle.
«In order to restore the plant, three problems need to be solved: state aid for raising young animals, providing fodder and changing the price policy for purchasing milk,» said Vladyslav Dmytriv.
We remind that 90% of medium-sized enterprises were forced to close in Mykolaiv with the beginning of a full-scale war. Also, almost all large enterprises stopped working or moved to other regions.
It is worth noting that in the Mykolaiv region, three plants of the Agrofusion company, located on the front line, namely in the Vitovka and Snihurivka districts of the Mykolaiv region, were also destroyed. Director of the Agrofusion company, Serhii Sypko, said that the two factories of the Agrofusion company, which have suffered significant destruction since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, can resume their work at full capacity already in August of this year.
As you know, the Korean corporation Posco plans to build a factory for the production of steel modules in the Mykolaiv region, which will be used for the reconstruction of housing and enterprises.
