KP Mykolaivoblteploenerho has already transferred about ₴7 million in compensation under the Available Water program

As of December, the utility company Mykolaivoblteploenerho received about 7 million hryvnias of compensation under the Available Water program.

Mykola Lohvinov, director of KP, told about this during the briefing, NikVesti writes.

Earlier, the head of the enterprise reported that they should receive 3-4 million hryvnias under the program. So far, Mykolaivoblteploenerho has received funds in the amount of about 7 million hryvnias.

«We have started to be compensated for funds under the Available Water program. Not in the volumes that should be. But we were compensated about 7 million hryvnias this year. Why is it so? The recalculation of these funds goes through the treasury. The Treasury requires separate contracts. And we have a large enterprise, we have contracts for electricity, water, sewerage, taxes. Therefore, we made additional agreements to the contracts. The water must be removed to a separate unit with separate accounting, so that everything is in accordance with the current legislation of Ukraine and within the framework of cooperation with the treasury,» said the director of the enterprise.

There are currently 75 points of dispensing purified water for the citizens of Mykolaiv. During this period, they released 100 million liters of water.

«We have 79 water distribution points. We have already released 100 million liters of water. 75 out of 79 work only for the population. At the same time, the enterprise has 44 wells. In the event that there is no centralized water supply, there will be a heat supply system, and the city's population will receive water from these wells. It is enough to provide all the drinking water needs of the city of Mykolaiv. Our stations can provide 2,600 cubic meters of drinking water per day,» Mykola Lohvinov added.

As you know, since the beginning of 2023, Mykolaivoblteploenerho has provided citizens with drinking water for a total amount of 22 million hryvnias, but it has not yet received compensation under the Available Water program, the director of the company, Mykola Lohvinov, said.

The Department of Housing and Communal Services of the Mykolaiv City Council expected that in November, Oblteploenergo will be able to receive compensation under the Available Water program.

We remind that in June 2023, deputies of the Mykolaiv City Council approved the Available Water program on the second attempt. It was planned to allocate 37.6 million hryvnias from the city budget for its implementation in 2023. These funds were to be spent on the maintenance of reverse osmosis stations, of which there are currently 145 in Mykolaiv.

Mykolaiv Zoo was recently added to the program. It will receive funds from the city budget for maintenance, maintenance and repair of water treatment systems.

Earlier it was also reported that the water under the Available Water program is not potable.

Dmytro Falko, the secretary of Mykolaiv city council, said that in Mykolaiv after the war, the city council plans to create a utility company that will take care of the purified water points, service them and sell water to the population. At the same time, the cost of a liter of water, according to preliminary calculations, can be 20 kopecks.
