Loses from damaged housing in Mykolaiv amounted to almost €386 million

As of the end of 2023, the amount of damage caused to the residential infrastructure of Mykolaiv reached 386 million euros.
Maksym Nefyodov, the director of innovative solutions at the Kyiv School of Economics, who helped with the evaluation of destroyed and damaged objects of the city within the framework of the «Russia will pay» project, wrote NikVesti.
The collected information was compared with the data of the city authorities (reports of communal services, State Emergency Service). In particular, the addresses and height of buildings were checked. This information has been compiled into a single online analytics module that can be used by the city and its partners.
In total, the losses of Mykolaiv's infrastructure as of the end of last year were estimated at about 850 million euros.
In Mykolaiv, damages from housing damage amount to 386 million euros, educational institutions — 45 million euros. At the same time, the damage to the water supply company is 41 million euros: these are the consequences not only of shelling, but also of salt water damage to the pipes. The heating system suffered 14 million euros, and the losses of enterprises reached 300 million euros.
We will remind you that as a result of hostile shelling of housing, social and energy infrastructure in the Mykolaiv region , losses amounting to 90 billion hryvnias were caused.
