Recently, the Russian army has been using ballistic missiles more often for attacks on Ukraine.
On February 5, on the air of the telethon, the spokesman of the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Yuriy Ignat, announced this.
«This night, ballistic missiles, including three Iskander-M and three S-300, were struck in eastern Ukraine. The Iskanders were fired from the Rostov region, and the S-300 from the occupied part of the Donetsk region,» he said.
At the same time, the spokesman of the Air Force noted that Russian ballistics do not always reach their targets.
«This applies to the «Daggers», «Iskanders», and the S-300. But it is necessary to understand that if it does not reach the target that the enemy has marked, it may end up elsewhere, so the threat does not decrease from that, it is necessary to react to any threats that are reported,» stressed Yurii Ihnat.
Witt also added that the enemy has recently started to use Shahed drones more often against people in the front-line territory. Using drones at close range reduces the chances of them being shot down by defenders' air defenses.
We will remind you that the Russians continue to shell Kutsurub and Ochakiv communities of the Mykolaiv region with artillery.
Also, on the night of February 5, Russian troops attacked Kherson. The enemy attack caused two fires in private houses. According to the employees of the State Emergency Service, the enemy targeted one of the residential quarters of the city.
