Russia buys Starlink in Arab countries. The cost of one satellite terminal is 200,000 rubles.
This is reported by the Main Directorate of Intelligence.
It is noted that the intelligence intercepted the negotiations of the Russians, where they are discussing the acquisition of the Starlink satellite communication terminal.
«The Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine informs: the aggressor state Russia is purchasing means of communication, including Starlink satellite Internet terminals, for use in the war in Arab countries,» the message reads.
As noted in the intelligence, one of the interlocutors reported: «Arabs bring everything: wires, Wi-Fi, router...». It also became known that the cost of Starlink is 200 thousand rubles.
It was previously reported that Russian troops can use Starlink systems at the front. For the first time, the Ukrainian side discovered the Starlink systems in the Russian troops «several months ago», the portal writes with reference to the Ukrainian military. Since then, Russia's use of satellite systems at the front has only increased.
It will be recalled that the Polish government handed over 5,000 Starlinks to Ukraine to ensure communication in front-line areas and for critical infrastructure enterprises.
About 47,000 Starlinks, transferred to our country by partners, are currently operating in Ukraine. Of these, more than 19,500 were received from Poland. Yes, some of them were transferred for the arrangement of «Points of Invincibility».
