A resident of Kramatorsk was sentenced to 15 years in prison for cooperating with the Russians and correcting enemy strikes on Donetsk region.

This was reported by the Security Service of Ukraine.

The law enforcement officers note that on his instructions, on March 14, 2023, the Russian Federation hit residential buildings in Kramatorsk with S-300 missiles. Then, as a result of enemy «arrivals», 10 civilians were injured, one of them died.

The convict also collected intelligence on the temporary bases of the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which were involved in the battles near Avdiivka and Bakhmut.

A Russian informant was detained in May 2023 near one of the military facilities in the front-line area.

Based on the evidence, the court found the perpetrator guilty under Part 7 of Article 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (providing assistance to the armed forces of the aggressor state in conducting hostilities against the Armed Forces of Ukraine). The judge sentenced him to 15 years in prison.

We will remind you that the Mykolaiv Court of Appeals left unchanged the verdict of a resident of Odesa, who was sentenced to life imprisonment in May 2023 for cooperation with Russian intelligence and preparation of sabotage.
