This year, inspectors of the Educational Security Service will work in more than 760 schools in 20 regions of Ukraine.

This was reported in the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers on Monday, September 2.

It is noted that these are not guards, but specialists who are mediators between the school, parents, children and teachers.» By the end of 2024, they want to ensure the presence of inspectors in 2,000 educational institutions. Currently, they are in 763 schools.

The government reminded that the duties of the inspector include prevention of emergency situations, organization of the access regime, interaction with all participants of the educational process, communication with emergency services, response to offenses, and, if necessary, calling the police.

We would like to remind that since September 1, about 75,000 students have started studying in the Mykolaiv region, and they will attend classes offline or in a mixed form.

It should also be noted that from September 2, 26 schools, which have equipped shelters, will start working in full-time and mixed form in Mykolaiv. Earlier, the city authorities planned to open 40 schools in Mykolaiv for full-time education. But parents will independently choose the format of education for their children.

In Mykolaiv, 37,671 students will study in schools this year. Compared to the previous 2023-2024 school year, the number of schoolchildren decreased by 3,531 children.
