How does «eVidnovlennia» work in the Mykolaiv region

From May 10, the «eVidnovlennia» compensation program for damaged housing has been in effect in Ukraine.

The Mykolaiv region is one of the five regions that are leaders in terms of the number of compensations received for damaged property within the framework of the «eVidnovlennia» program.

Thus, during the year , 140 million hryvnias were paid within the framework of the program to residents of the Mykolaiv region, whose property was damaged as a result of Russian aggression.

As you know, from January 1, 2024, Ukrainians who repaired damaged housing as a result of Russian aggression at their own expense may also claim compensation.

In September 2023, a resident of Mykolaiv, convicted of collaborationism, applied for compensation for property damaged by Russian shelling under the «eVidnovlennia» program. The mayor of Mykolaiv Oleksandr Sienkevych noted that the collaborator will not receive money from the state.

Previously, Mykolaiv Oblast was among the top five oblasts where the largest number of applications for the «eVidnovlennia» program were submitted. However, the region has the lowest rates of consideration of these applications. Therefore, the Ministry of Reconstruction called on the Mykolaiv commissions to speed up their processing: «This depends on the ability of the owners to receive help in the shortest possible time to restore housing before the autumn and winter cold.»

Currently, 30 commissions for the restoration of housing damaged during the full-scale invasion are working in the Mykolaiv region under the «eVidnovlennia» program.

And in January of this year, the first resident of Mykolaiv purchased an apartment under the «eVidnovlennia» housing certificate.

It was previously reported that 330 million hryvnias of compensation for damaged property have already been paid to the residents of the Mykolaiv Oblast under the «eVidnovlennia» program.
