Odesa bakery No. 4 was allowed to reserve 50% of employees, drivers are being laid off en masse, and part of the routes had to be closed.

This is stated in the report of Suspilne.

The Director of the Limited Liability Company «Odesa Bread Factory №4» Vitalii Dobrovolskyi noted that the company currently has 87 open vacancies, but in the last two months it was possible to hire only two new employees. He says one or two drivers quit each week, finding jobs with booking companies.

«From the moment we were able to book only 50% of the staff, people just started leaving. In the last month, two drivers were simply removed from the routes with a fully loaded car,» says the director.

According to Vitalii Dobrovolskyi, due to a lack of personnel, the bakery closed three routes and refused daily delivery to some outlets, transferring them to delivery every other day. In addition, bread from Odesa is also transported to Kherson and the Kherson region, where bakeries do not work due to the proximity of hostilities. Every day, 4-5 tons of bread are sent to Kherson, but the lack of drivers complicates this process, the director noted.

Vitalii Dobrovolskyi said that he had written to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and professional bakers' associations, asking the Ministry of Defense to consider the possibility of booking up to 75% of the bakery's employees.

Previously, NikVesti informed that the Ministry of Economy plans to implement several models of economic reservation.

As a reminder, enterprises that are critical to the economy of Ukraine or serve the needs of the Defense Forces can book their conscripted employees through Diya.
