Six family-type children's homes from regions where active hostilities are taking place expect to receive new housing in Odesa. For this, the bridge needs 58 million hryvnias of subvention from the state budget.

This became known during the extraordinary session of the executive committee of the Odesa City Council on October 8, write NikVesti.

According to the law, such families can choose any place of residence. For this, they need to contact their military administrations. Odesa has already received six applications from the Donetsk, Luhansk and Kherson regions.

The purchase of housing for family-type children's homes will cost 57.7 million hryvnias. The city commission, which deals with this issue, formed a budget request, which was approved by the executive committee. Now the calculation will be considered by the regional commission, and then by the Cabinet of Ministers.

The Odesa authorities expect to purchase apartments by the end of 2024.
