Residents of a residential building in the center of Mykolaiv will have their roof damaged by shelling restored: it will cost ₴231,000.

In a residential building on 82 Vadyma Blahovisnoho Street (former Nikolska Street, — note) in the center of Mykolaiv, the roof damaged by enemy shelling will be repaired. 231.5 thousand hryvnias are provided for these works.

This is evidenced by the data of the public procurement system ProZorro, they write NikVesti.

The customer of these works is the Department of Housing and Communal Services of the Mykolaiv City Council. The contractor will have until December 1, 2024 to dismantle the old coating, install a new one and make an exit to the roof.

Currently, the process of submitting tenders is ongoing, the contractor will be chosen after October 16.

It is worth noting that near the house on 82 Vadyma Blahovisnoho Street, there have been several shellings since the beginning of the war. The closest and largest of them were rocket hits located next to the building of the Inhul hotel and a residential building at 32 Admiralska Street. At the same time, the former building of the Entrekot restaurant was damaged.

What about the restoration of houses in Mykolaiv?

In 2024, 45 million hryvnias are planned to be spent on the restoration of damaged or destroyed apartment buildings from the budget of Mykolaiv, whereas in 2023, 40 million hryvnias were allocated for this purpose.

The first high-rise building damaged by shelling in Mykolaiv began to be restored at the expense of the city budget in July 2023. We are talking about the house on Krylova, which was hit by a Russian missile in the summer of 2022.

At the end of the year, the housing and communal services department of the Mykolaiv City Council reported that in 2023, four residential apartment buildings that were damaged as a result of shelling by Russian troops were overhauled.

After that, the Department of Housing and Housing announced a tender for the restoration of a five-story building in the center of Mykolaiv, which was destroyed by a Russian missile in the fall of 2022. Subsequently, NikVesti showed how the process of its restoration continues.

And in April 2024, the Housing and Housing Department announced another tender for the capital repair of a high-rise building at 132 Kosmonavtiv Street in Mykolaiv. Three more houses awaiting reconstruction are houses at 2 Aliaudy, 61 Raiduzhna, and 142 Kosmonavtiv.

At the same time, the city council supported the allocation of funds from the budget of Mykolaiv for the technical inspection of private houses affected by the war.
