Bashtanka received a $10,000 grant to repair water supply networks

Miskvodokanal received money for capital repairs of the centralized water supply network

In Bashtanka, Miskvodokanal received 10,000 dollars for capital repairs of the centralized water supply network. Also, thanks to international aid, 16 solar panels were installed at drinking water pumps.

Oleksandr Berehovyi, head of the Bashtanka community, announced this.

According to him, solar panels will ensure stable operation even during power outages. Also, thanks to the support of international partners, office equipment and new sewer hatches were purchased in the community.

In addition, KP Miskvodokanal became the winner of the grant competition and received 10,000 dollars for the capital repair of the existing network of centralized water supply.

«These funds will help to improve the infrastructure and ensure a stable supply of water to all residents of the community,» Oleksandr Berehovyi added.

The project was implemented within the framework of the «Grants to Mutual Aid Groups» program, which is implemented by the Southern Development Strategy in cooperation with the joint office of DCA NCA in Ukraine and Kirkens Nødhjelp in Ukraine with the support of the Humanitarian Fund for Ukraine #UkraineHumanitarianFund of the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs / OCHA Ukraine.

We will remind that the «Social bus» will be launched in Bashtanka, Mykolaiv region, which will run on two city routes.
