Donald Trump Jr., the son of the newly elected US president, published a video on his Instagram mocking the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy. The video says that Ukraine will lose the support of the United States in 38 days.
This was reported by Newsweek.
This video was first shared by Republican Sarah Palin, former governor of Alaska. The video shows Zelenskyy standing next to Donald Trump, with dollar bills falling on top of him. The text on the screen states: «POV: You are 38 days away from losing your allowance.»
Donald Trump Jr. actively supported his father's 2024 campaign and called for the election of Senator James David Vance as vice president. If you count 38 days from November 10, it turns out to be December 18, which may indicate the date of the official confirmation of the Republican victory in the elections. Donald Trump will be inaugurated as president on January 20.
Election of the 47th President of the USA
Voting in the presidential elections ended on November 6 in the USA — the last polling stations were closed in Alaska. Even before the official results were announced, Donald Trump declared himself the winner of the election. The Republican got 240 votes, while Democrat Kamala Harris got 213.
During the speech in Florida, Trump already made a number of statements. In particular , he assured that he plans to stop all wars in the world.
A number of country leaders have already congratulated Trump on his victory: French President Emmanuel Macron, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. For the first time , they commented on the results of the US elections in China, expressing hope for further peaceful and mutually beneficial relations.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy also congratulated US President Donald Trump on his victory in the elections. He noted that he hopes for the implementation of the «peace through strength» approach for a just end to the war in Ukraine.
