There are 78 vacant land plots in the Mykolaiv region for the placement of sources of alternative energy. They plan to attract international partners and businesses to these areas.
This was reported by the press service of Mykolaiv Regional State Administration.
It is noted that all Greenfield plots on which distributed generation facilities can be placed are posted on the «Investment Opportunities of Mykolaiv Oblast» website
Mykolaivoblenergo is currently calculating the potential cost and technical possibilities of placing generation facilities.
«We actively cooperate with international partners. All these plots are available on the website, and any investor can familiarize himself with the possibilities and conditions. The next step is the translation of information into foreign languages to make it understandable for our partners,» said Oleksandr Koroliov, director of the Department of Economic Development and Regional Policy of the Mykolaiv Oblast.
The head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, Vitalii Kim, noted that the demand for these plots of land exceeds the available supply. He also added that territorial communities need to be responsible when dealing with investment proposals.
It was previously reported that 1,418 hybrid solar power plants were installed in private homes in the Mykolaiv region.
