As of December this year, residents of Mykolaiv submitted 3,666 applications for damaged property under the «eVidnovlennia» program.

This was reported by the mayor of Mykolaiv Oleksandr Sienkevych.

According to him, the commission has already approved 1967 applications for the total amount of 105 million 579 thousand 227.10 hryvnias. Of which, 1,907 co-owners have already been paid in the amount of 103 million 331 thousand 092.30 hryvnias.

«If you haven't applied for this program yet, do it! Our employees will help you. For the necessary information about the program, contact the following phone number: 53-74-48,» the message reads.

It should be noted that Ukrainians who lost their homes due to the war will be able to use the «eVidnovlennia» housing certificate to pay the first installment of a mortgage under the «eOselia» program.

How does «eVidnovlennia» work in the Mykolayiv region

From May 10, 2023, the «eVidnovlennia» compensation program for damaged housing will be in effect in Ukraine.

The Mykolaiv region is one of the five regions that are leaders in terms of the number of compensations received for damaged property within the framework of the «eVidnovlennia» program.

Thus, during the past year, 140 million hryvnias were paid within the framework of the program to residents of the Mykolaiv region, whose property was damaged as a result of Russian aggression.

As you know, from January 1, 2024, Ukrainians who repaired damaged housing as a result of Russian aggression at their own expense may also claim compensation.

In September 2023, a resident of Mykolaiv, convicted of collaborationism, applied for compensation for property damaged by Russian shelling under the «eRecovery» program. The mayor of Mykolaiv Oleksandr Sienkevych noted that the collaborator will not receive money from the state.

Also, Mykolaiv region entered the top five oblasts, where the most applications for the «eVidnovlennia» program were submitted. However, the region has the lowest rates of consideration of these applications. Therefore, the Ministry of Reconstruction called on the Mykolaiv commissions to speed up their processing: «This depends on the ability of the owners to receive assistance in the shortest possible time for the restoration of housing before the autumn and winter cold.»

And in January of this year, the first resident of Mykolaiv purchased an apartment under the «eVidnovlennia» housing certificate.
