First Deputy Head of the Southern Interregional Department of the Ministry of Justice (Odesa) Inna Firsova spoke about how the restoration of state registers is taking place and which bodies are working in the face of a cyberattack.
She said this today, December 24, during a briefing in Mykolaiv, NikVesti reports.
«The approximate time for restoring the registers is 2 weeks. There are backup copies in the databases, so citizens' data was saved. The Security Service of Ukraine has initiated criminal proceedings and continues to conduct an investigation. At this time, the restoration of the register system has already begun,» Inna Firsova reported.
Inna Firsova also spoke about the work of the units of the Southern Interregional Department of the Ministry of Justice during the cyberattack.
«Structural units do not stop their work and continue to provide services to citizens under the current conditions. All units are on site and will help with every request,» added Inna Firsova.
As a reminder, on the night of December 20, the Russians carried out the most massive cyberattack ever, targeting Ukraine's state registries. The attack was carried out by the Russians to disrupt the operation of critical infrastructure.
