In the Chornobaivka community of the Kherson region, where residents of Kherson were called to evacuate, the modular town is half-empty. There are many available places there.

This was announced by the head of the Department of Internal and Information Policy of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Tolokonnіkov, during an interview with Radio Svoboda.

He noted that the evacuation of residents of Kherson from the danger zone is currently ongoing. However, people are not very active in leaving their homes.

In addition to other regions, Kherson residents are offered to temporarily stay in a modular town in the Chornobaivka community. According to Oleksandr Tolokonnіkov, it was built according to European standards in a safe part of the community. However, currently the town is almost empty.

«Now they (houses, — note) are half-empty, there are many places there. We prepared it specifically for people who do not want to leave further, so that they can stay and live for up to three months, not far from the Chornobaivka community, but in a safe part,» he added.

Earlier, it was reported that the Mykolayiv region is ready to welcome residents of Kherson in case of the need for evacuation and provide them with all the necessary assistance.

The reason for the evacuation of residents was the threat of the Russian forces advancing. Thus, Russian sabotage and reconnaissance groups reportedly attempted to advance towards Kherson on the night of December 20.
