A new temperature record was registered in Mykolaiv: the previous one was 50 years ago

Yesterday, 7 January, a new temperature record of +12.2°C was recorded in Mykolaiv.

The previous record was set in 1975 at +9.9°C, the Mykolaiv Regional Centre for Hydrometeorology reported.

Forecasters reminded that the absolute maximum air temperature in Mykolaiv region was recorded on 16 July 2024 and was +41.6°C.

As a reminder, on Wednesday, 8 January, warm weather with partly cloudy skies and no significant precipitation is also expected in Mykolaiv region. The temperature will rise from +9 to +14°C during the day.
