Mykolaiv region earned over $10 million in exports in January

In January 2025, Mykolaiv region exported goods worth $10.4 million and traded with 38 countries.

These data were published by Mykolaiv Customs.

Products were exported to 38 countries, and 80% of shipments were to 10 main destinations: Poland — 20%, Lebanon — 14%, Libya — 13%, Germany — 12%, Moldova — 6%, France — 4%, Japan — 3%, Georgia — 3%, Romania — 3%, Bulgaria — 2%.

The main exports were food products (75.2%), machinery and equipment (6.9%), textiles (5.9%), metals (3.5%), and chemicals (4.4%).

Imported goods came from 24 countries for $19 million. The leading suppliers were China (40%), Lithuania (12%), Germany (9%), Turkey (8%) and Ireland (7%).

The main imports were machinery, equipment and transport (36.4%), chemicals and rubber (32.3%), food (17.8%), metals and metal products (7.5%), footwear and textiles (3.6%).

As a reminder, Ukraine has started exporting its own biomethane to Europe by filing a declaration through the State Customs Service's energy customs.
