In Mykolaiv, a court seized the property of the head of a passenger carriage depot who is suspected of organising a scheme to evade mobilisation. According to the investigation, the man arranged for conscripts to be employed «only on paper» in exchange for money and issued them with reservations without them actually performing their duties.
This is stated in the ruling of the Central District Court of Mykolaiv.
The investigation is being conducted by the Security Service of Ukraine in the Mykolaiv region. The case was opened under the article on obstruction of the lawful activities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to the investigation, the head of the passenger car depot in Mykolaiv had fictitiously employed at least three men of conscription age since May 2025. They were issued with reservations from mobilisation, although in fact they did not work.
It is also noted that the official took their salary cards and disposed of the money that came into their accounts himself.
Law enforcement officers conducted a search of the suspect's place of residence and work. During the investigation, they seized flash drives with files, a notebook with work records, a bank card, and other material evidence.
The court granted the prosecutor's request and seized all the seized property. The court explained that the seizure was necessary to preserve evidence and prevent its destruction or concealment.
We remind you that in Mykolaiv, a serviceman of the territorial recruitment and social support centre in the Korabelnyi district was notified of suspicion of beating a conscripted man after the latter allegedly sprayed gas into his eyes.
Earlier, an investigation was launched in the Mykolaiv region into an incident in which TRC employees allegedly beat and illegally detained a man for 10 days.
