Central District of Mykolaiv seeks for a contractor to clean the streets

The administration of the Central District of the Mykolaiv City Council is looking for a contractor to clean the streets and territories from rubbish and dirt.

This is evidenced by data from the Prozorro public procurement system, according to NikVesti.

The services will be provided until 31 December 2026. The contractor must ensure that the areas are cleaned of dirt, rubbish up to 10 centimetres in size and other debris.

The expected cost of the purchase is 1 million 6 thousand 164 hryvnias.

According to the tender documentation, the contractor must clean areas with a total area of 28,336 square metres. The work involves cleaning the areas of dirt and debris.

In addition, the contractor is obliged to transport all collected rubbish and dirt by truck to the municipal solid waste landfill located at: Mykolaiv region, Mykolaiv district, village of Vesniane, 16 Nova Street, or to other authorised landfills.

The documentation also states that the services must be provided continuously — on working days, public holidays, weekends and other non-working days.

Companies that have the appropriate equipment and machinery, qualified personnel and experience in providing similar services can participate in the tender.

Proposals from participants will be accepted until 23 January. After the auction is completed and the participants are evaluated, the customer will conclude a contract with the winner.

We would like to remind you that in Mykolaiv, schedules for mechanised street cleaning have been developed, which from this year will be carried out by the municipal enterprise ELU Avtodor. Work is planned to start in January.

As is known, from 1 January 2026, mechanised street cleaning in Mykolaiv was transferred to the municipal enterprise ELU Avtodorig, and part of the work on the removal of dangerous trees was transferred to district administrations.

However, according to a decision by the executive committee of the Mykolaiv City Council, the municipal enterprise Mykolaiv Parks will be responsible for cleaning Soborna Street.

We will remind you that the deputy director of the Mykolaiv Housing and Utilities Department, Ihor Nabatov, said that the mechanised cleaning of the streets of Mykolaiv was transferred to the municipal enterprise ELU Avtodorig because it had «proven itself» in the mechanised cleaning of streets and roads.

In addition, Ihor Nabatov said that the municipal enterprise Mykolaiv Parks does not have time to process all requests for the removal of dangerous trees, so part of this work will be transferred to district administrations.
