In the Mykolaiv region, the State Enforcement Service confiscated a sawed-off tree stump from a debtor and put it up for sale with a starting price of 90 hryvnias.

The lot is listed for sale on the Open Market platform. However, as of 10 February, no bids had been received.

Thirteen pieces of wood cut from stumps were put up for sale. Each piece has a volume of about 0.1 cubic metres. The seized property is currently stored in Pervomaisk, Mykolaiv region.

The stump was seized due to its owner's debt for electricity. In January 2025, Mykolaiv Electricity Supply Company LLC collected 2,684 hryvnias 40 kopiikas in debt and 302 hryvnias 80 kopiikas in court costs from a local resident through the courts.

Open Market is a platform where contractors sell seized property: from equipment and cars to non-standard lots, such as this stump.

We would like to remind you that the Antimonopoly Committee opened a case due to possible collusion among entrepreneurs in tenders for the purchase of firewood for Mykolaiv and Kherson.
