Nova Odesa plans to spend nearly ₴5 million on purchasing the specialist equipment needed for road repairs

In Nova Odesa, there are plans to purchase a motor grader for 4.9 million hryvnias, to be used during road construction and repair works.

This is according to data from the Prozorro public procurement system, NikVesti reports.

The contracting authority is the Executive Committee of the Nova Odesa City Council. The contractor will be required to deliver one unit of specialised equipment by 31 May 2026. According to the tender documentation, the motor grader must be new and manufactured no earlier than 2025.

The tender submission process is currently underway, and the contractor will be selected after 8 April.

A motor grader is a specialised road construction machine used for levelling and grading surfaces. It is used during road construction and repair, in particular for levelling the ground before laying the surface, maintaining dirt roads, creating slopes for drainage, as well as for clearing areas and removing snow.

As a reminder, members of the Mykolaiv City Council withdrew from consideration the issue of granting permission to the municipal enterprise Mykolaiv Parks to take out a 45.1 million hryvnias loan for equipment under the «Affordable Loans 5-7-9%» programme.
